Vanessa’s Story
Vanessa grew up in northern Illinois before attending Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. In 2022, she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Digital Media, and in 2024, she obtained her master’s degree in communications. Today, she works in programs and event management at a tech nonprofit in Milwaukee.
Adam’s Story
Adam grew up an hour southwest of Chicago before attending Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. In 2021, he obtained his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor Biological Sciences. Today, he runs the operations of a health clinic.
Our Story
We met through a mutual friend in 2020 at Marquette University. After our first (and brief) interaction, we crossed paths again the following day, which was the beginning of everything – the moment Adam asked Vanessa on a date. We spent some of college years together, including navigating the pandemic, before getting engaged on our three-year anniversary back in 2023.
